Upper Talachulitna River (Tal Creek) float trip. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to arrive Anchorage with just your personal gear and fishing equipment and get quickly and properly set up on a remote river. One night in Anchorage prior to your bush flight is usually required. Purchase your groceries, pack them in the containers we provide, and we are on our way the following morning. In addition to the flight services, we will provide for you the equipment described below. If you have any questions about this or other equipment you think you may need, please inquire.

Rafts and Accessories

American Creek Float TripWe provide dual pontoon catamaran style rafts, "catarafts". Fashioned with a tubular aluminum frame, these rafts offer a comfortable stable platform from which to float and fish. Designed originally to run big whitewater, these rafts bring a large safety margin to the relatively light white water you might encounter on some of Alaska's remote rivers. These designs are more easily maneuvered than conventional rafts. You and your gear sit high off the water. There are no floors to hold water, soaking you and your equipment. No baling is ever required.  We help you with raft assembly at the river and provide instruction on how to pack and maneuver these boats before you begin your trip.

Included with each raft are 3 oars (1 spare), life jackets,  foot pump, patch kit, throw lines and other required accessories...
