South Central Alaska Fish Timing
King Salmon begin running in early June, peak the later part of June, season closes July 13.
Red Salmon start running in late June, peak in July and are available throughout August.
Silver Salmon start running in late July, peak mid August and fishing remains good into September.
Pink and Chum Salmon - present mid July through late August.
Rainbow Trout, Char, Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike - available throughout the summer.
