For the unguided hunter, the logistics and expense
of shipping your own equipment to hunt in western Alaska can be overwhelming.
It is the goal of our outfitted hunting program
to
make
it
as
easy
as
possible
for
you
to
arrive in Galena Alaska with
just
your
personal
gear and be quickly and properly prepared to enter the field with all the
equipment necessary for a successful hunt. In
addition
to
flight
services,
we
will
provide
for
you
the
equipment
described
below.

Tents
Cabela's "Alaska Outfitter" tent.
Roomy
and
easy to assemble,
these
geodesic
shelters
have proven themselves time and again in Alaska's tough elements.
One
"6
man"
tent with
vestibule per each two
to
three hunting clients is
our
standard issue,
allowing ample room
for persons, cots and gear.

"Roll a Cot" brand cots are furnished for your comfort.
We've
tried
a
lot
of
cots
over
the
years
and
have
found
these
to
be
the
most
comfortable
and
functional.
Propane Kitchen
|
Your
propane
kitchen
comes
complete
with
a
Coleman
2
burner
stove,
sufficient
propane
for
your
trip,
table,
plates,
cups,
utensils,
cutting
board,
1
large
boiling
pot,
1
coffee
pot,
1 cast iron frying
pan,
a
fire
grill,
dish
soap
and
scrubber.
We
will
gladly
provide
any
other
basic
cooking
and
kitchen
equipment
you
feel
you
may
need
for
your
trip. |

- Groceries
-
We will provide all of the food
for meals during your hunt. These supplies will include a mix of fresh
foods, canned and dry packaged foods, and freeze dried meals. 5 gallons
of fresh water are provided at the start of each hunt. River water is boiled
or purified as needed to replenish supplies. Fresh food and water supplies are
often replenished by aircraft during camp checks and meat pick ups.
- Boat and Accessories

In most instances you will be
dropped into the field via float plane onto a river or lake. Depending on the
camp location and hunt strategy you will likely be issued either an inflatable
raft, canoe or motorized skiff.

As necessary you will receive instruction
and demonstration on assembly and use of
all equipment which we provide for you. You will receive and discuss our
maps
and hunt strategy recommendations specific to the area you will be hunting.
Information will include Satellite phone communication and emergency procedures. Drawing on our years of experience we will prepare you as best we can for
a safe and successful Alaska hunt.
